Lessons
Each lesson and training session is taught with a goal idealy suited to the rider or horse. Wether it
is to learn to turn on the forehand, or how to tighten up a cinch, or just how to learn how to lead or
walk, every hour is planned out to not only accomplish that goal, but to have fun doing it. The
lesson or training session is followed up with a summary of what the hour entailed and what was
accomplished, what goals were achieved, and what the next step will or could be.
Jen's horse rule #1: If you don't have fun riding, don't
ride.
A special note on group lessons: a good way to go to learn how to ride with friends (or make friends!), save on
lesson fees, participate in group games (lots of eggs, spoons, and mailboxes), all in a relaxed atmosphere.
Group lessons are those with 2 to 4 students.
